Brainport Avenue Café guest at Health Innovation Campus
The care and the world around us are changing. The increasing need for care is leading to an ever-increasing demand for available financial resources, making a high-quality healthcare system unaffordable in the future.
Máxima Medical Centre (MMC) has translated its long-term strategy into the concept of Health Innovation Campus (HIC), which aims to develop an ecosystem for healthcare innovation, medical technological innovations and research. HIC is also a hub where parties in an open environment work together, share and develop knowledge. They focus on stimulating innovations in care through interaction between Máxima Medical Centre, healthcare organisations, entrepreneurs, knowledge and educational institutions.
We are warmly received to get acquainted with HIC and are given a presentation by Dries Steinmeijer. It explains the campus, but also the planned developments in and around the MMC in both the R&D area and the infrastructure of the entire area.
