New resident MMC incubator: Corporate Health International
In the MMC Incubator, a number of companies have been established, which, in cooperation with the hospital and specialists in Máxima Medical Center, further develop their product.
CorporateHealth International provides IT-enabled health services that can scale. The first service offering targets Video Capsule Endoscopy: A procedure that uses a vitamin-sized capsule camera to investigate the lower gastrointestinal tract to replace invasive procedures like colonoscopies for initial diagnosis and surveillance. What typically is a labor intensive procedure where a doctor might have to spend up to 2 hours to analyse a video is delivered by CorporateHealth as a highly-productive, top quality, outsourced service.
By leveraging digital health IT and supply chain management solutions, CorporateHealth’ telemedical video capsule endoscopy can scale from individual practice level to whole nation screening programs. This results in lower costs, less risk for patients, and shorter waiting lists. The medical experts can then spend more time on patients and focus on challenging interventions.
CorporateHealth International was founded 2014 in Odense, Denmark, has their diagnostic team in Hamburg, Germany, and operates in various different European countries.
